I am a Level 2 Certified Master Primal Health Coach, that works with women in midlife, struggling with not only unexplained weight gain that is impacting their enjoyment of life, but unable to shift the weight; and who are feeling tired, sad, frustrated and foggy.

Sleep Optimization: They help clients establish consistent sleep patterns by emphasising the importance of sleep duration and quality. Strategies may include setting regular bedtimes, creating a sleep-conducive environment, and minimizing exposure to artificial light at night.
Daylight Exposure: Coaches encourage clients to spend time outdoors during daylight hours to sync their circadian rhythms with the natural light-dark cycle. Exposure to natural light helps regulate sleep-wake cycles and supports overall well-being.
Meal Timing: Ancestral health coaches may recommend aligning meal timing with the sunrise and sunset. This can enhance metabolic health and energy levels.

Metabolic Health

Physical Activity: Coaches design fitness routines that encourage metabolic flexibility, emphasizing both aerobic and strength training exercises to improve insulin sensitivity and overall metabolic function.

Mitochondrial Health

Mitochondria are the cellular powerhouses responsible for energy production. An ancestral health coach helps clients enhance their mitochondrial health in the following ways:
Sunlight support:Sunlight exposure plays a significant role in supporting mitochondrial health through various mechanisms. Including Vitamin D production, regulate circadian rhythms, reduction in inflammation, and enhanced energy production.
Nutritional Support: They recommend diets rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals that support mitochondrial function. Certain foods, like leafy greens, berries, and fatty fish, may be emphasized.
Exercise: Coaches encourage regular physical activity, as exercise has been shown to improve mitochondrial biogenesis and function. High-intensity interval training (HIIT) and resistance training are often incorporated.
